Preacher Position Filled

Thanks to all who have expressed a desire to work with us here. Brother Todd Crayton has been selected as the next Preacher for the church here in Frisco, and started with us October 25.
Brother Todd Crayton joins us after serving five years as the Minister for the
Ridgedale church of Christ in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, he is also a 2004 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and holds a B.S. degree in Nutrition from East Carolina University. Prior to attending preaching school in 2002, he preached part-time at the Westside church of Christ in Greenville, NC as he was obtaining his undergraduate degree. While in preaching school, he served as the Associate Minister for the Collierville church of Christ in Collierville, TN and preached in various congregations in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi during those two years. Additionally, Todd has preached, conducted retreats and spoken at Lectureships in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Indiana, and West Virginia. He can now add Texas to this list.
Todd has been involved with the GOSPEL BROADCASTING NETWORK since it’s inception in 2005. He is a regular panelist on GBN’s Questions and Answers and a frequent guest panelist on Fabric of the Family programs. GOSPEL BROADCASTING NETWORK is a satellite network, broadcasting the truth and nothing but the truth, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Todd and his wife, Rose (Felton) will be married for fourteen years this coming December. Rose is originally form Alabama and holds a B.A. Degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama. She worked in the Human Resources field for sixteen years before leaving to be a stay home mother and to attend preaching school with Todd. She is a frequent speaker at Ladies Days, Retreats and Lectureships. In addition to doing missionary work in South Africa and The Navajo Reservation, she has taught a community-based Bible Class.
Todd and Rose have two sons, Micah (age 10) and Noah (age 7). Both boys are active in TaeKwonDo, love singing and are ardent Bible students.
On joining the Frisco family, Todd states: “My family and I are blessed to have this opportunity to labor and serve in the Lord’s vineyard in Frisco. We look forward to working with the good brethren here, under the leadership of a sound eldership, to preach the whole counsel of God. It is my hope that as a body of the Lord’s people, we will work together in love, edify one another and collectively “…preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we (emphasis TC) may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” (Col.1:28).
A sample sermon from Todd is available in the Bible Studies section of this site.

We are collecting both of these items for some of the local children's homes. With enough labels collected, they can purchase needed equipment for their facilities, even 15-passenger vans! It's a very easy way to help. We have a collection box in the lobby, if you want to drop these by. |
